Hmmm… Yes… Indubitably.

So today was it.  I worked my butt off for several years and have to admit I am a bit disappointed.  Perhaps it was arrogant to even hope I had a chance, but I figured it was worth a shot, and once finances came into the picture, it looked like my only option, and now it’s gone.  God, what have you got up your sleeve?  What is the plan now?  You know I don’t have thousands of dollars to spend over the next few years.  This is when I just say, “ok, I will trust and whatever happens is what is meant to happen.”  If anyone has taken the time to read this, Ivies released their admission decisions today and a wait-list at Dartmouth was my best offer.  Not that it isn’t even more than I had expected, but their is still always that glimmer of light of possibilities and I had some decent credentials.  But what can you do, right?  So, looks like UMASS Amherst is my best option at the moment, since I cannot afford LA or the UK.  Not that Amherst is cheap, still sitting at 22,000 a year, but that beats 30,000 any day.  Perhaps a money tree will grow in my back yard all of a sudden.  Anything’s possible, right?   God, give me peace and show me what you’ve got, cause I am not too sure right now.
